Job description
At Columbia Road, we believe that marketing and sales should be a joint effort. Marketing is not an add-on, it’s at the core of digital sales. Digital marketers should be working right there with the team developing digital sales. We’re committed to making a change in our field.
We are looking for lead generation, marketing automation and CRM consultants who have an innovative mindset toward growth hacking. You will have an important role in helping our customers grow their business. You can kickstart your career as a CRM and MA expert, with a focus either to Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Hubspot (or both!). These are considered best-in-class CRM / MA technologies for clients, and you will go through a special Salesforce Marketing Cloud certificate training in the beginning of your journey at Columbia Road, as well as other necessary learning paths.
Embracing digital transformation in business and mastering data-driven leadership are global trends we discuss with our clients every day, and you’ll have the opportunity to become an expert in these areas.
By nature, you are analytical and like to solve problems. You are able to bring clarity to uncertain and chaotic situations. You know how to analyse the results of your work and are able to derive business insights from complex data. You have already gained hands-on experience in several of these areas: lead acquisition, customer data utilisation, nurturing campaigns, marketing automation and CRM tools. We don’t expect you to know it all, but by nature, you are not afraid of tackling challenging tasks and you enjoy diving into previously unfamiliar tools.
In order to be successful in this role, we require you to have professional proficiency in written and spoken Finnish and English. In this job, you may need to write and manage content for Finnish speaking audiences.
Professional benefits for you
- Working in the core of our clients’ businesses; advising, designing and implementing the tech needed to drive the business forward
- Working directly with the client - no middle management involved
- A clear focus on digital sales, in both B2C and B2B
- You'll have the best people to work with and learn from in a truly flat organisation
- A diverse and inclusive workplace
- We pay extra attention to professional growth and learning at Columbia Road, and we do this proactively. Our internal learning opportunities come in many forms: events, courses, certifications, and weekly learning sessions, to name a few.
Requirements
- You’re a recent graduate or will graduate during this year (if you still have more to go with your studies, feel free to apply for our Associate Program later this October!)
- Analytical mindset, ability to see outside the box
- Interest in web technologies and understanding also the technical side of tools
- Languages: Finnish and English
- Past experience in consulting or digital commerce is valuable, but not necessary
Hands-on experience in at least one of these, preferably several:
- Marketing Automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo, CustomerIO, Dynamics 365 Marketing)
- CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience in utilising customer data from various sources (CRM, CDP, DMP)
Hands-on experience in the following is considered a bonus, but not required:
- Digital advertising understanding (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Web analytics and communicating data insights (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau)
- A/B testing
- Service, graphic, and/or UX/UI design
- Copywriting
Make sure you showcase your experience and knowledge as clearly as possible in your application, resume and attachments. We value examples and results from previous projects, and we'd love to know what concrete marketing tools you used to get those results.
Recruitment process
The recruitment process usually has 1-3 steps during which we get to know who you are and what motivates you. You'll have the opportunity to present highlights from your career and tell us about your skills, roles, and learnings.
We’re committed to creating a good match between you and our organisation, and want to spend time to get it right. Sometimes, an assignment might be given to you to complete between interviews. When we’re done with the face-to-face discussions, we’ll contact the people you have chosen as references.
The deadline for applications is September 10th, 2023. We’ll start the first round of interviews while the application period is ongoing. We hope to hear from you soon!
