The Company:

Our client is a leading glass solutions provider to the building sector. They boast an automated manufacturing process encompassing laminated glass, insulated glass and glass printing using digital printing technology. This is a service focused business and is part of a larger building products group and offers career progression throughout the group.

The Role:

They are now seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification and automation production and manufacturing experience. Your role will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Ensuring the facility runs with operational efficiency
  • Maintaining product quality standards and targets
  • Ensuring efficient and effective safe work practices
  • Scheduling planned maintenance and minimizing breakdowns
  • Continuous improvement of the process and facility

You:

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
  • A bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • An aptitude and experience in automated plant and machinery
  • 10 years experience in a production or manufacturing facility
  • Be mechanically minded with an understanding of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation and PLC’s
  • Possess exceptional leadership and people skills
  • An ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
  • Understanding and experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement principals
  • Experience with CMMS systems
