The Company:
Our client is a leading glass solutions provider to the building sector. They boast an automated manufacturing process encompassing laminated glass, insulated glass and glass printing using digital printing technology. This is a service focused business and is part of a larger building products group and offers career progression throughout the group.
The Role:
They are now seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification and automation production and manufacturing experience. Your role will include but not be limited to the following:
- Responsible for maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
- Ensuring the facility runs with operational efficiency
- Maintaining product quality standards and targets
- Ensuring efficient and effective safe work practices
- Scheduling planned maintenance and minimizing breakdowns
- Continuous improvement of the process and facility
- Working with cutting edge automation technology

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- A bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- An aptitude and experience in automated plant and machinery
- 10 years experience in a production or manufacturing facility
- Be mechanically minded with an understanding of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation and PLC’s
- Possess exceptional leadership and people skills
- An ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
- Understanding and experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement principals
- Experience with CMMS systems
