For one of our current projects in Uruguay, we are looking for Senior Signalling Engineer (m/w/d).
Your tasks will be:
Acquaint with the site conditions- Checking contractors' designs on completeness and feasibility
- Performing weekly site visits
- Compiling daily data from the Monitoring site offices
- Coaching the engineers on-site regarding required data
- Evaluating the purchase chain of main components
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests
- Evaluate variation requests regarding their possible consequences on reliability, durability, maintainability (including operational aspects).
- Responsible for chapter signalling in the weekly reports (Progress of Design, Production, Delivery, Installation)
- Contributing to the quarterly management reports.
Requirements:
- Civil or Mechanical Engineer
- 10 years’ experience in Construction or Supervision
- Extensive knowledge of Railway signaling systems and railway operation
- Experience in ETCS-Installation beneficially (or availability to undergo training in Germany)
- Team player, strict confidentiality
- Fluent Spanish and intermediate English skills
- Previous experience in the LATAM region
The position is located in Progreso, Uruguay (20 km away from Montevideo)
