What will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative?
- Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Working in a team environment in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
- Ensuring Quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care so it arrives at our customers in perfect condition.
- Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment
- Checking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch
- A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site
Relevant skills and experience as a Warehouse Operative:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Ability to read and understand instructions
- Ability to count accurately
- Have appropriate hand, eye and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely
- You will be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to work
- Counter balance/forklift licence desirable but not essential
As a Warehouse Operative you will be rewarded with:
- £26,353 per annum
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 12 hour shifts – 6am to 6pm
